Summary

The marine environment can be effectively managed using Marine Spatial Planning (MSP - similar in concept to planning on land). However, extra tools are required to consider the impacts of human activities on marine habitats. This project translates existing tools, which currently used to support MSP in Europe, for use in the BVI. The tools will be integrated into an existing framework used in the BVI and facilitate the production of marine spatial plans by the Government of the BVI.
