Summary
Small nations can mitigate climate change impacts locally. The project will focus on key species that support fisheries and ecosystems. Physiological experiments will establish tolerances of key species. It will establish the first Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAF) framework, develop and understanding climate change impacts to fisheries/marine ecosystems. Through workshops it will explore Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) interventions which could inform decisions on whether to mainstream CCA and AF into sustainable fisheries, conservation of marine ecosystems, governance and policy.
